I got a MJ about 6 months ago and so far it works perfectly.5 Year plan comes to less than twenty dollars a year for unlimited calls.

I purchased one of these devices for my elderly father who live thousands of miles away so he could call me without costing him too much money, as he is on a fixed income. Once he got the hang of it, he really enjoyed the saving....That is until the day it STOPPED WORKING for no reason. He thought he did something wrong. I let him know that he did not. In fact, it seems common for these 'magic jack offs' to die after 30 days, making it impossible to return for a refund. And Customer Service? HA!

What the site tells you " FREE 30 day trial " what the site won't tell you is you will get charged the full amount within a couple of days if you use your DEBIT CHECK card.What the site tells you " Just plug the magic jack in, plug your phone in and your ready to make calls " this is true to some extent...but the site WON'T tell you is you may not be able to use YOUR area code ( May not yet be available ) so everytime your local area code frinds call your home, THEY will get charged a toll fee
