so i went on ebay and bought a screen to do this and i ended up getting 2 :D, so im gonna download this on my psp and do it at lunch at school tomorrow. bragging is fun

Thanks SO much for making this video - I spent about 30 dollars on a new screen instead of 170 on a new ipod.I didnt have that green tool, so it didnt go back together so nicely, but everything else works like a charm :)

It looks like the side clip is to secure the headphone connector in place.I haven't cracked open a 3rd gen nano yet I need to wait for all the warranties run out first before I start getting some business.

i opended my ipod with a knife.. it opened fine but doesnt go back together completely. not too bad damage. but if the side clip... (that little metal peice on the headphone jack) completely nessecary? i installed my new lcd and couldnt get that back on.. ipod works fine but will it cuase problems later on? |
