I do agree that the loading did kill it for me...especially later areas in the game where you begin to encounter enemies every couple of steps.

Yeah, anyway the animation couldn't look any differently than the DBZ animation style since the artist for chrono trigger and DBZ are one in the same...

@hasanodom noe the memory card really seems to reduce most games load times and I currently don't see any loading in this game

@Rafutooie No kidding there man all the kirby games run like pure shit man

I completely agree. I remember when they first ported CT to the psx. I was really disappointed. The addition of the library was really nice for geeks like me, but the really cheap "DBZ" style animations didn't do the game any credit, and the load times completely killed the feel of the game for me. Seamless battles were what seperated CT from the FF series and the port killed that feeling.

flawlessly..? It lags during battles for me.As does every SNES game that's at least 4mb. You really don't wanna know what playing Kirby Super Star is like.

I think the best way to play Chrono Trigger is on the (PSP) snes emulator. Im agree with OSHIDesu, the snes rom weights about 4MB, the entire ISO weights about 600MB. Besides the snes rom doesnt load anything, the ISO does, the "now loading" can feel it between battles. |
