Eve Online - Smartbomb - Punish the invaders!

Howdy...A few days ago, I was hit with a problem. A hostile alliance had invaded my home system, leaving me compelled to try and expel them. Only problem was the numbers - about 25-30 of them against lil' ol' me (my corp mates are taking a short break from eve). On top of that, these guys like to fight in groups - taking them on solo would be suicide!So what do I hit? Well, their mining ops! Only problem with that was the large defencive force they always deploy to protect it! My Raven (although of course uber) would never be able to smash its way through, and my manti (although of course also uber) would be roasted in seconds by the HAC's they sit around the perimeter...Hmmm, what to do.....*********************** *****************Kudos to Akhual!!

Its ok your bad with numbers and its too complicated for you, you can stick to your games like WoW, running around as a pixie or a fairy.

The real reason ravens were so popular for PvE was because missiles had none of the disadvantages that turrets have v.s. small targets, and they always hit, so it was possible for relative noobs to run level 4 missions without having to understand the effects of range/tracking/etc and without needing drones. That's all been changed with the most recent patch.

A domis hyp or megathorn will out dps a raven anyday even one with 6 heavy torp lanchers 2 blasters and a tone of damage mods is the first thing. The second is yes caldari are known as best mission runners i cant contest it but thats becuase a raven can jump to 200k and unload on the packs as it flys away not fast but very safe, were as a domis with blasters and heavy drones will have its tank tested as it has a max range of about 4k but 1200dps and a solid tank do make up for it.

then why do ravens finish missions faster than domis? :(( I'm sooooooo confused.But after the missile + nano nerf, domis will be able to compete against ravens. But yeah, caldari are the mission running kings.
