USMC '83.......I doubt it is part of traing anymore.During Rifle Range Week, we moved to a barracks on the other end of Parris Island...across the street from the Rifle Range.We spent all day either firing or working the butts...when we marched back to the squad bay, the thermostat was @ 90 or better!We mountain-climbed & scuzzed the deck til mid-night...damn it was HOT!
