*Major Spoilers*The founders of Shepherd's Glen were part of The Order. They wanted to leave Silent Hill and the religion behind so the four founders had to sacrifice one of their children every 50 years or the town would get pissed at them for leaving. Alex's dad doesn't sacrifice a child and the Shepherd's Glen becomes all foggy and monster infested.

Yes and no, and I'll explain. In the earlier Silent Hill games,like 1 and 2 featured very "themed" monstrosities like the straightjackets and Pyramid Head. Although these very same monsters are featured in Silent Hill Homecoming and Origins, they're symbolic value is rather less insignificant to the characters(especially in Homecoming).

I like this game but it just didn't play like a silent hill game. SH 2 and SH 3 will always be my favorite.

Thanks for uploading this. Unfortunatly I can not agreee that the game was a worthy sequel. So many Silent hill franchise caracteristics were neglected. For ex. the way people look , here they look like they've come out of SIMS. They should be pale , disturbin, usualy with long hare. They talk criptickly and misticly.Also ambient is more scary in Konami's silent hill , it's accftauly dark , and nightmarish , here it loks just like they used red filter, ect, cet.Consult fans for sequel.
