You can associate file extensions during the installation, and also after it by going to Tools | Interface | Association Setup._____This is one of the reasons I like YouTube, you can always find video tutorials like this one. I use Free Download Manager to convert files but will give VLC a try.Thanks pbj746.

you know when you download VLC.will all your music,mideos,pictures icon change to the VLC icon. ?.if it does is there a way to change it back to the oringle icon thay is had ?.
