The wire is a special thin copper wire, used mostly by NASA. They don't lift him up,Its a machine.

There's one thing I can't understand with the wire method. Between his flying, there's a part that he turns around 180 degree on the floor. ( not in the glass part ). If his assistants using wire from ceiling, when he turns like this, the wire(s) must be twisted and can't lift him up after that. But he did fly! How can you explain this?
