oh Mr.Mavesomething.. when i said he missed the timing, it doesnt mean i didnt understand the arranging of the shit, i'm a music composer and arranger and that wht i do for livin, sting was playing the bass guitar " as he always do" and he missed the timing in (1:40 to 1:44 ) .and believe me man, its obvious that i wont need to tell the duration for someone who knows wht timing is.i'm saying its just a shame for such a well known artist to miss such a regular measures timing .

Oh ok. But don't be bias to people who have religious beliefs. Yeah, I know some people take it too far. I despise anyone who tries to make a Biblical point and they use curse language to do it. That's pretty hypocritical! Just have patience with people, because well...people are people.

My comment here wasn't in response to you. It was in response to "ziryabdahab"s comment.I didn't even thumb him down though, I don't usually do that unless it's about religious stuff, I have a tendency to hate religious spoutage :P

Oh so you ARE the one who gave me the thumbs down aren't you? Listen dude, that is my opinion of this performance. It's fine but getting "soulful" is not one of Sting's strong points vocally. It never has been. The arrangement is pretty awesome and unique though and I'll give him credit where credit is due.

First off, it's liar, not "lier".Second, that is not anywhere near a definition of liar.Third, he purposely "misses" the timing, it is meant to be different, otherwise it is boring.

sting is a lier.. he missed the timing twice in this shit.. i dont like this guy

Great musicians, interesting orchestration in a traditional Sting way and a couple of interesting solos. The original is however a classic!

Sting did what he knows how to do ; his on style and accent...

I don't know exactly why, but I think the original version is so much better. I don't like his voice.
