This is a ridiculous comment

I miss videos like this. Where they were the embodiment of the song. Its seems mostly videos are a showcase so we can see one thing: the band, artist performing and probably looking sexy or glamourous. Don't even get me started with Hip-hop videos. I like to see videos as little movies. Gondry's stuff is great because its existential. Its also great when us as an audience are taken into the mind, thoughts, or feelings of the artist who wrote the song.

The sad thing is sleepy0268, people want to be treated the way they were brought up, because they feel it is love they have been given while growing up. Think about that. So if they were treated like crap in their early years, they feel that is the way it should be and that was love they were given.

This was a great song and still is...and doesn't apply to only male-female sexual relationships, It applies to the politically correct society we live in where whites are the oppressors and blacks are the "victims." I too want to scream "enough" of the race card but am afraid to because "Voices Carry."

Never have been in a relationship like that, never will be. I'm too much of a stubborn ass and I've never liked to be told what to do.

LOL - no kidding - what an oaf. I love the part at the end where he sees her dreadlock and she freaks out at the opera. Videos were so much fun back in the beginning of the genre. Now they suck.
