besides, since when does it take a "hero" to get caught by the enemy? the soldiers that never got caught and lived through a lot are the real heroes...back then the generals were holding up pictures of John McCain and telling their soldiers "don't be like these idiot and get caught"

Fair comment. Trust me, I don't think people who support McCain are necessarily defective in any way. However, I have been genuinely appalled at the innuendo race they've run against Obama (you saw the results; you should also check out my Strongsville, OH vid if you haven't). I guess McCain thought since it worked against him in 2000, it would work now. If he had picked a Romney or a Portman and come after Obama as as inexperienced and a lib tax and spender, this would still be a horserace.

(Concl): I'd rather you call me dogshit than clump me with them (actually, chicks dig me ... dogface I'm not). I don't necessarily think O is a terror; I conclude that he has dodged those questions (Ayers, Wright-hate, offshore donations. Those like me are in pretty high numbers -- probably more than the lib, biased media will own up to. We'll know more on 4-Nov.

I have to say that THAT is appalling, and I'm wounded that you seem to rush to a conclusion that anyone who doesn't care for Obama is one of those crackpots.

Hey dogface, although the thought of agreeing with you appalls me, I must say that if Obama blows McCain's doors off the way it looks like he's going to, we can definitely start to retire "racist" as a meaningful term when applied to the whole country (probably ought to keep it around for awhile, though, for backwards groups like right-wing Republicans). |
