the wtf style of taekwondo I study focuses not only on kicks but also on punches, knee and elbow strikes even though kicks are the main focus.olymic sparring is only a small part of taekwondo.my personal experience tells me that all taekwondo kicks are useful and practical if aimed to the lower body and midsection.some of the poomsae also include low and midsection kicks.
