Escape Big Trouble in New Jersey

This is my first and hopefully last bad movie. I shot it with the intentions of making a cult classic. And even though the movie still has the potential, it's just so cheesey.Ecape Big Trouble in New Jersey is a crossover/sequel to both John Carpenter films: "Escape New York" and "Big Trouble in Little China". The idea was to get Jack Burton and Snake Plissken in a buddy/team up movie.I think I succeeded in teaming them up, but somethings just look better on paper. Although I will say, this film might have been better if I had some more time. Unfortunately conflicting schedules between myself and my actors really made things all the more difficult. And because we were all so busy, too much time had passed between filming scenes. Summer turned to fall and fall became winter. It's not that easy shooting a summer movie with summer costumes in the freezing cold.I had just about given up on this movie when I figured out a clever way to finish it. I had already 90% of the movie already, all I needed were some simple transitional shots. So I decided to do animatic scenes with music and audio from my actors. The scenes came out fine and are just as cheesey at the entire movie, so I figure no real harm was done.In any case. Enjoy "Escape Big Trouble in New Jersey". It's a labor of love.

Dude - that was WICKED!!! Awesome job! You combined my two all-time favorite characters. :) I loved your Jack Burton. He had the swagger and presence down good - and he even had the shirt!!! Jealous! Great fight scenes too!

This is a clever concept. There is another "sequel" to the Escape movies on Youtube called Escape from Total Recall, and that one has Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kurt teaming up. It is a comedy though. I'm interested in whether or not the creators of these movies know each other or have communicated.

is there anyway for you to make the beginning a little more brighter? 'cuz in i can't see a thing in the beginning.
