Some of the pictures of my beloved G36 rifle I was given for my 6 month Kosovo excursion...It was such a good one. Unfortunately I had to give it back. :(I simply translated the german names into english, so if I gave any part a wrong name, dont hesitate to tell me, so I can correct it.Music: "White Rabbit", by Jefferson Airplane.

AK-101 fires NATO 5.56, it's made for exportAK-103 (Venesuela have purchased ~100k of them, with plans to go for another 920k) fires good old 7.39x39.Standard in Russia itself is 5.45x39, used by AK-74, AK-74M, AK-107, AN-94 etc, but 7.62mm AK-47 and AKM are still around, it's used in civilian market as well. So I agree with sirjustin511, it's especially true for Africa, Middle East, and other regions that China supplied by their AK's clones and ammo.

It's hevier and more expensive, as was HK G41 which had no sales at all, even in Germany. 550 at least is used be Swiss army.

Not very common eh, it is one of the cheapest rounds out there becouase of it's avaliability. I have a crap-load of the rounds, they are all over the place man. They are very common and almost every country in the former soviet bloc and even the united states makes them. The fact that you say they aren't commmon is a load of crap.

GloryofSparta (October 2, 2008 at 11:57 pm)
Yeah, it doesn't fire the 7.62x39mm Russian round. It's the 5.56x45mm NATO.
puch4ever (October 1, 2008 at 6:28 pm)

GeckoSniper (September 30, 2008 at 11:58 pm)
