its because that effect has been made famous by matrix that they call it that. what else do you expect them to call it to get the point across? by calling it matrix everyone knows what kind of effect makes this video special.

Well... duh everyone knows that. Its just stupid referring the spinning camera effect to a movie made almost 10 years ago. I am a big fan of the matrix as well, but if I don't name everything that has a special effect like that to matrix =P
