yes, the song is about ritalin, but it is much deeper than that i think.if i remember correctly, pete (lead singer) had a friend who took ritalin and was known to live in a "bubble". i think most of society lives in a bubble - a false reality they have constructed to ease their fears.at the end of the video, pete didn't want to answer the phone - he wanted to remain in his false reality.likewise, most humans do not want to "answer the phone", but rather remain in their ignorance.

The song and video are both awesome! Especially the end, when he just sits there staring at the picture and won't pick up the phone. That is exactly what too much Ritalin will do to you!

It's funny because in this vid he looks like Dane Cook/Johnny Knoxville who are both in their 30s or whatever (and so is Pete) but nowadays, he has longer hair and looks younger.

man when this came out i called it vitamin suck, but nowi think this songs pretty good, mabe i just grew upor learned to respect how hard it is to make music....and he totally looks like johnny knoxville
