listen man. Are You a deuchebag? or are you just stupid? I'm stating the fact why Thorpe retired and you keep telling me your opinion on Phelps. I don't care who is better. You know Spitz said "if they had 50m freestyle back than, I would have won that too" That pretty much means he is trash talking Phelps. Look at it this way. When some one beats Phelps in coming years; does that means taht person is the best, or it means they are from different times?

listen man. You know you can't refute the fact that michael is the best swimmer ever. I can back up that fact in many different ways: 1. Phelps has 14 golds in olympic games which is unbelivable amazing(6 in one and 8 in the last one)2. Phelps has 17 world titles more than anybody else in history 3. Phelps has 30+ world recods more than anybody else in history.4. Phelps has been the youngest male swimmer to break a world recod.5.Popov, Spitz and everybody says that "phelps is the best ever.
