the guy who declared martial law to keep himself in power, the same guy who had people who spoke up against him killed(not only ninoy), the same guy who's own generals told him "NO!" they will not kill the innocent Filipinos who rose up against him (as seen on a lice broadcast, the very same whose excesses, corruption, and greed were were made public as the true "people's power" came crashing down on him...

Oo nga eh... kaya tuloy nakakatamad nang bumoto... yung mga binoboto kong sa tingin ko ay matino, sila pa ang tahasan at harapang nadadaya ng mga buwayang pulitiko... hay naku! grabe na to...There's actually a mystery behind corrupt politics in the Philippines that 98% of our economists don't realize. But I know that mystery. Ask me and I might tell you. :)

The Philippines then was the most developed country in Asia second to Japan even after the WW2. But let us not blame Marcos. He was only a victim of America. The downfall of his regime was planned by the US because Marcos was turning against America back then. US used Marcos soldier's greed and the rich' desires to control our country. And one more thing, Marcos, with his knowledge on the art of war, wouldn't kill Ninoy who is believed by many to be his #1 enemy. Who do you think killed Ninoy?
