My theory is they didn't want to cast an actress yet so they just didn't show her face. I think it will be a new character, just Daniels wife/girlfriend... They had to redo the picture of Penny back in Season 2 b/c of a different actress, probably just trying to prevent that from happening.

No. No no, that's not what it meant. Despite what people think, he's clearly not flashing back in time.It just mens he had a flashback and a) you didn't catch the sound, or b) the editors didn't bother to put it in.

OMG! I just realized something. Dan didn't have the flash back noise in this scene, while the three other Freighties did. That could only mean that his consciousness traveled at the moment, as Desmond was also missing the flashback noise when his consciousness traveled. That would explain why Dan was crying, and the whole "Desmond Hume will be my constant" thing in his journal. Gosh, I hope he's better after making contact with Desmond.

Ahh shoot, does anyone know whats said by that guy, after 'Hey Genius....' I missed this part on TV and my speakers are to bad quality to make it out.Great clip, very interesting character. Harsh though, he's like 'Mindfuck, I don't want to jump!' And they practically throw him out of the plane haha! He's obviously not a professional parachuter:P |
