AFI has announced that their much anticipated new album, Decemberunderground, will officially be released June 6th. The band has released their first taste from the collection, Miss Murder. The collection will be the AFI's first since 2003's Sing The Sorrow. For the effort guitarist Jade and singer Davey talked about how many songs they wrote and how many will be on the finished version of the record. [Jade] "Fifty songs." [Davey] "Yes, yes, fifty songs.... probably about forty-nine (will make the record)I think? Nah, just kidding." [Jade] "Probably like fifteen, twelve on the album. Something like that." [Davey] "Yeah, we don't want to make the album too exhausting for anybody." AFI has kept busy...

I'm torn...I like his Decemberunderground look because of the relative uniqueness (yes, there are a few examples of similar styles, but his was a unique take on it-- much sleeker) which gave it a certain notoriety.His Sing the Sorrow era hair looks like loads of fun to have, particularily in "the Leaving Song Pt. II" video.Now he has new hair for Blaqk Audio. I don't mind his hair short. It brings out his slender features. Maybe a new style for the next AFI album? We shall see.
