Disney launches the award winning Mplayer in IndiaDisney joins hands with Polygenta to bring unique and innovatively designed Disney Consumer Electronics line in India. The first launch of this line is a stylish and trendy Mickey shaped Mplayer manufactured by iRiver, Korea. The Mplayer, an MP3 player modelled after Mickey Mouse, sports a simple interface that can be used by music lovers of all ages. Disney fans can listen to the favourite music for hours, as the Mplayer provides up to 1GB of storage space. Priced at just Rs.3,499. The size is as light as 17g, running on rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery. In addition to the player itself, each box contains a standard USB 2.0 cable, earphones with detachable lanyard, quick start guide, warranty information, and mini CD-ROM.Easy to carry, stylish to use and unique as a fashion accessory; this has been a hot seller in the International market and now makes its first step towards India. In celebration of the success of the first Mplayer, iRiver plans to release the Disney-inspired music machine in 10 more colors shortly.

You are right, the original MPlayer for 1 GB costs between USD 50 to USD 65 at retail depending on the country of purchase & local taxation on the product. For the 2 GB version the price ranges between USD 70 to USD 85.

the mplayers on ebay with the price between $10-30 are probably the fake ones because the real mplayer would at least cost around $50 (54,800won on Iriver Korea website).

The standard packaging comes with a USB cable that you can plug into your Laptop/PC.Having done this, you can transfer your music files into the player.Any further queries, feel free to post here!
