Yes,the original is much better,but the reworked versions of "Ongaku" and "Riot in Lagos" are brilliant in my opinion.

I will never forget going back from work at night up the Ladbroke Grove,London and listening to "Solid State Survivor",imagining it was Saturday night in Tokyo. I was flying rather than walking.Very uplifting music.
