His songwriting skills are very good(Dance of Death, The Legacy etc) and he has good stage presence! The ONLY (note: only) thing that annoys me, is his solo on Hallowed Be Thy Name (originally played by Adrian Smith), he sorta ruins it.

I just don't understand why some people flame Janick. His guitar tricks and dances on stage are amazing, and he's also a great guitar player (and that's not easy to put together).So, to all those Janick haters: do yourself a favor and get a life. The current Iron Maiden lineup is: Bruce Dickinson, Steve Harris, Dave Murray, Janick Gers, Adrian Smith and Nicko McBrain, and if you call yourselves Maiden fans you must like all of them in order to like Iron Maiden.BTW excellent vid, great song
