India was derived from the word "Indus" or "Sindhu" river with its amazing tributaries that were around before 3000 BC including the recently confirmed Indus-Saraswati River on whose banks lay Ancient Indian Kingdoms. Sadly the areas are claimed by Pakistan & Afghanistan and now they are claiming the right for Kashmir and Muslims were even around till 600 AD.. Such a pity.

Correction here Saraswathiputra... Hindu as a word was not coined by the Westerner but Mughals and Afganis who used to live on the opposite side of river Sindhu...

Very informative. Its the barbarian Europeans who have twisted history to hide their inferiority. Indians are foolish if they continue to idolize a foreign culture and language. As Indians we have to accept our superior language and culture and live up to it.

The worst thing is - In Indian schools still Max Miller's Aryan invasion theories are taught. Since the ruling Congress party in independent Bharat (India) tries always to demean the Hindus civilization. They oppose when ruling BJP tried to change the curriculum. Only today I came to know about the truth.
