the way i see it is that from the red hot chili peppers-mothers milk compared to BSSM-stadium arcadium they are 2 different bands they matured and found the style(s) they felt comfortable with and for the ppl who don't like stadium i think that if they listened to it with an opened mind and didn't expect it to sound like anything in particular then they would find it better

awsome band.......have to say though i never really liked Stadium Arcadiam, not though it wasn't terrible, jsut everytime time i think of Chillies i think of the great album that was Blood Sugar Sex Majic...songs awsome by the way.If i had regret in life is that i was unable to get a ticket to theri concert when they came to my town, i was pissed off and sad i didn't listen to them for like a whole year
