This was recorded 26 October 2007 in downtown Toronto, Canada. Michel de Broin, an artist, had totally stripped down a 1986 Buick Regal and outfitted it with 4 independent pedal and gear mechanisms. This was part of 'art' piece being exhibited at the Mercer Union Gallery (24 October - 8 December).Anyway, the police noticed the car's test drive and thought to pull it over and check it out. No tasers were employed, but it did cost the occupants an expensive towing charge.

lol well I ride a bicycle all the time but, I ride alongside cars not in the middle of the street haha

napalm,Yes, now I see you got the point: bicycles are better then cars.

the guy on the bicycle passed the car though and that one car that was behind it honked at him and if the other cars were going the same speed why did they get pulled over then? maybe they just looked like they were goin slower in this video...

napalm,In this video, I can see all cars in low speed. The maximum speed on a street depends on the kind of the street and it is regulated by law.Of course, the typical speed should always be below the maximum. If you are above this maximum, you are wrong. If you crash in the back of anything, again you are wrong. Cities are for people, not for cars.

If you understood anachy you would realise that there would be a complete lack of trust fund moochers. These lively carefree young people would spend their days digging latrines and tending crops. The freedom from state control is lovely, but it tends to stop indulgent self expression. blah blah blah...

I'm afraid it was impeding traffic. If you are caught impeding traffic you can get a ticket and they should have got one.

this is not a low speed street is what i'm trying to say. the typical speed on a street is 25 mph or more. so if youre driving 25-30 mph down the street and this thing is front of you going 5 mph or less dont you think youre going to crash into the back of it?!

napalm, speed limit is the maximum speed, not the actual speed. I am still curious to know how possibilly can a slow speed device in a low speed street "suddenly appear" in front of you.
