Right DRLAPAGLIA - you're an entrepreneur and not a scumbag. Just because we have the right to make a dollar in the free market, maxamillion08 doesn't mean we shouldn't expect our government to take care of it's people when it comes to health. If we can spend billions of dollars killing people (war), why can't we spend that money helping our own (universal health insurance).

i cant believe ppl dont want the universal healthcare! they rather get rejected from health insurance companies and pay thousands of dollars for health treatment.so Vote for obama for cheaper healthcare

As Noam Chomsky shows in his research, US Economic indicators are EXTREMELY IDEOLOGICAL. The numbers are fudged, and the statistics skewed. I wish we were the "Best" - but people in Denmark are the happiest in the world. Socialist related policies correlates with happiness. Don't get me wrong, I'm an entrepreneur, and I want to make a profit, but we need universal healthcare.

Is it true Obama plans to provide free health care for the 15M illegal aliens? Dick Morris is claiming this is true, but I can't find anything directly from Obama.If it's true, Obama is finished. Even left-of-center swing voters won't support this.

I am a doctor. I have a great idea. Place a huge tax(100%)on cable tv, satellite, entertainment ie, iTunes, cd, dvd, movies, porn, sports tickets, concert tickets, alcoholic drinks and tobbacco (not books that actually have to be read) - then if you buy health insurance, you can get a tax exempt card for your frivolous purchases!

Please study our economy a little more... we're not doing as well as you propose. Also, a high GDP does not necessarily mean that the people of a country are doing well. When each individual only thinks about money, we tend to forget about other people. Part of the problem with the healthcare industry in America is the fact that we do not regulate large drug companies; this encourages them to only sell drugs for profit even if it is at the expense of the people who they intended to heal.

I disagree with Obama on universal healthcare. I do not like the idea of the government dictating to physicians on issues concerning patient treatment. I think Obama is very wrong on this issue.

I realy admire this man. If I were registered, I'd totally vote for him. Also watch the video on ethics, it's realy great.
