Someone else said that John had written the soundtrack to their life; amen to that. The man has more soul than anyone I can think of and is still moved to genuine tears by songs he must must have performed a thousand times. Every time he plays is unique though - I can vouch for that having seen him first in 1968. Forty years on, still with us and still absolutely amazing.
