And Mexico could certainly use the money, preferably to increase the quality of life of its ppl! And that could be something that could be worked out before ground is broken on the 1st refinery, .."We build in your country and you stop exporting your poor and if you don't we start mass deportation on a biblical scale!" The individual could have their own home hemp refinery system if they wanted to, in much the same way a lot of ppl take cooking oil & convert it to diesel fuel!

As far as the legalization of hemp is concerned if it can be used for oil, or other sources that would get us off of foreign oil, such as cellulose ethanol, once it's legal why not let the refineries grow it themselves? Depending on the exact dna strains used to grow the shit you could pretty much grow it anywhere! There could be a day when the US gov't is paying Mexico billions of dollars a year to grow it in the Mexican desert, which is a wasteland by the way!

Something, anything,... doesn't need to be in the constitution for it to be a law in this country! Why you hold true to the idea that it needs to be in the constitution, perhaps with or without an amendment, is beyond me. But, if you want an amendment to be passed & for it to be placed into the constitution, that's fine with me! But everyone should pay taxes and the more money you make the more that you should pay in taxes, percentage wise, not just in actual dollar amount!

Lobbyists are one big problem but so is the IRS its not even in the constitution you have to pay taxes they make you sign a contract and force you to pay or get liquidated. We already pay state taxes and get similar services. Why pay double? Next on the list is the legalization of hemp or cannabis so we can end our oil dependency on other countries and citizens can grow hemp to sell to refineries and make money or build their own smaller versions to sell on their own. I am sure we can all agree

Essentially, the wealthy are lobbyists in their own right! They lobby to get the IRS to take as little as possible from them, which is another example of why we need to get the lobbyists out of Washington. The lobbyists are, in my opinion, the main reason why politics is a corrupt system. Abolishing the IRS won't solve any problems, it will just create a slew of other problems!

Actually, Ron Paul wants to destroy the middle class and obliterate half the federal gov't, not only does that mean that the dumb bastard will never be president, but it also means that Bugs Bunny would make a better president than Ron Paul!!Obama '08!!!

As awesome as Mr. Paul is, Iran does in-fact have a military- with a half-million personnel.

What is up with all that lotion behind them?
spacecab1 (August 12, 2008 at 6:52 pm)
The wealthy get tax breaks and also make their services include the taxes they have to pay so your point is flawed. Think for just a moment about what I have said it might sink in and you might see that its the poor and middle class that pay the actual taxes. Look up who designed the IRS because it wasn't the federal government.
