to the whole nation and at the same time restore some faith in the negative view people have of her.We all hear and see the artist but very rarely the REAL person only the one the media choose to show,which in Amy's case is a negative one most of the time.If she went on T.V. at prime time{sober} and just gave a glimps of her nice side and just simpley sang some classic acoustic versions I think it would show just how good she really is to the doubters.

msghana...Elvis's 68 tv special had 4 shows.2 stand up and 2 sit down rehearsal{ the sit down was just him and a guitar}. The sit down wasn't originally ment to be put in but it was so successfull it was and it the most watched programme in the US of 68.These sort of candid shows can be VERY powerfull if done right as they take songs and artists down to the basics.I'd love to see An Audience with Amy Winehouse on T.V this would be a classic way of showing the REAL side of her talent ctnd

Is this ironic or what..Amy's next album is based on The Wizard of Oz.Judy Garland{who played the original Dorathey in the film}died of drink and drugs.Diana Ross who was in the remake along with Michael Jackson also played Billie Holliday in the film Lady Sings The Blues.Billie Holliday died of drink and drugs.Billie Holliday and Amy have both sung the song Someone to watch over me.Amys voice on that song sounds more like Etta James's on hers,different tempos but their voices are similar.
