All things are NOT pure. Why would Christians need to be in the world and not part of it if all things are pure? We could partake in anything and it would be OK. Using your argument with Titus 1:15, I could probably justify taping my wife and I having sex and putting it out on the web as an educational video for other Christians to watch. Could it be possible to do this and have everyone remain pure while they watch? In theory, yes. Am I stupid enough to even try it? No way.

I know I already posted this verse but to the pure all things are pure.Hebrews 9: 13 - 14 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

I understand where your coming from, and I totally respect that your running even this song through your filter.However, when this song is sung to me, it doesn't lead me to think of anything impure. It makes my mind dwell on the love of the Lord. Don't forget that we have been made free of sin by the blood of Christ. And although we are in this world we are not a part of it.

In a sinless world, we would have the ability to enjoy anything and everything, without having to worry about crossing any lines. But here on earth, that is not the case. And a Sunday morning worship song probably shouldn't introduce erotic imagery to people in the congregation. 1 Corinthians 6:12 - "Everything is permissible — but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible — but not everything is constructive.

Titus 1515To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.When you view things out of a pure heart that is hungry for and anchored in the Lord, these things actually carry a huge amount of anointing on them. Don't forget that throughout the bible the relationship between man and God is compared to the relationship between man and woman. Including sex.

actually 1 john 1:9 says 'But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.' so we are forgiven if we confess

"Your fragrence is intoxicating in the secret place"?"Moving to the rhythm of Your grace"? I'm sure this song was never intended to be erotic in nature, but it certainly came across that way to my wife and I. I think this song is completely inappropriate as a worship song. These lyrics come across like an advertisement for a Victoria's Secret massage oil.
