And even moreso, Aerosmith did "Walk This Way" back in the 70's, so all Run DMC really had to do was tweak the words in a "rap format". "I'm the Man" just something goofy that Anthrax experimented with."Bring The Noise" was originally a Public Enemy song that Anthrax completely re-wrote the music to, which was officially the first metal/rap crossover song (1991), still pre-dating all of the others in existence.

for all of you confused cocksuckers out there run dmc and aerosmith was in 1986 same year as beasty boys first cd license to ill(1986) this song came out in 1987 it was not the first to blend rock and rap but the first to blend metal and rap if you dont count the beasty boys. but the first song to EVER COMBINE RAP AND ROCK IS--KING OF ROCK BY RUN DMC in 1985 look it up
