highoffyou,Repeat:this IS Pineda's FIRST ever concert with JRNY, he must be scared stiff performing that time...and even in that immense pressure, Pineda was able to pull it off and won the BEST VOCALIST AWARD in the Vina Festival!Go look for Pineda's latest US TOUR concerts and you can see phenomenal improvement and confidence!

don't get me wrong, pineda is an excellent singer. however i'd rather hear a note sung well in falseto than a strained scratchy belt of a note, listen to 1:45, among other places inthe song. pineda was brought in as a replacement for perry, he is here essentially to imitate perry's singing style; if perry sucks, then this guy does too.

highoffyou part 2,Pineda NEVER use falsetto voice, while perry admits using FALSETTO to reach high notes, that is why Pineda's voice is MORE FULLER, powerful and more MASCULINE, WHILE perry IS SMOOTHER but weaker!

perry has a better range than pineda, even in this video he's straining to even hold the B's. and when they play faithfully with pineda they tune down a half step. perry rarely sounds strained hitting B's. |
