I love McN also, In my personal opinion I would take the Duc..i have driven the 1098 and it's a hell of a machine and i don't see why the 848 would forfeit any quality or power

I really hope that they set up the suspension on the bikes before making the comparison. The Duc is a much more comfortable ride after some tweaking. Factory settings are super stiff & set up for 2 up riding.

Same as in Australia. Its more to do with number of bikes sold. More bikes are sold in the US therefore prices are cheaper. But that also means you lose out with the warranties. Here in Oz we get 3 years unlimited Kms that covers pretty much every single part.
