This isn't for or against, just clarifying his argument. The point is that you're eating soy that's synthesized to taste like meat, which you've decided not to eat for ethical, health, whatever reason it is. Basically you wont eat meat but you love it's delicious taste, you like it's taste enough to chemically create a substitute. it's not the composition of the faux meat, but the desire to simulate the taste of something you've sworn off eating in the first place. I think this is what he meant
