You are a complete idiot if you think a QTVR Panorama compares to this new technology. A QTVR Panorama, you stitch together photos you take. The photos remain static.New technology = creates panoramas and virtual 3D environments by stitching together photos you didn't have to take. It uses a crawler, like Flickr.

it's boring and OLD technology...try looking up "QTVR Panorama" in Google...I've been able to create them since the mid 90s...so what? am I supposed to be excited because normal people have caught up now? woopie.

Are you fucking kidding me? Aperture and Lightroom couldn't even begin to relate to the type of technology Photosynth and Dragon demonstrate in this video. I don't even think you watched the video. Photosynth isn't kinetically 'tossing about' photos for your viewing pleasure; it's linking the meta tags in the photos to other photos and creating a virtual panorama/environment that is greater as a whole than all of the images separate.

just because it works by zooming in on objects doesn't mean it's the same as apple's technology. This is talking about showing massive amounts of data streaming fluidly on your pc.

this is just microsoft copying other companies ideas again....this is the same as Apple Aperutre and Adobe Lightroom, except that both of those programs can also edit photos as well as do exactly what this video shows in terms of detail viewing of multiple images....Microsoft = lame and years behind AGAIN.
