because they don't support Palin or her beliefs and don't want people to think they're endorsing her. They wrote Barracuda to describe a person who was sneaky, cruel, a liar, and willing to do anything to stay on top and for some reason Palin likes to be referred to as that(probably to make herself look less weak). They've requested multiple times that McCain stop using the song but he hasn't really taken the hint.
