I love this for what it's worth. MJ was the original, CC came out with a cover, and then Cook improved all of it with his fantastic voice using most of CC's version with his own kick added to it. He smolders when he sings this. Not bad when you only have less than 2 minutes to sing something of someone else's.

ive read lots of these comments but NOONE mentioned CHRIS CORNELLhe made this versionand he sang greater than this guyi mean seriously cmon people if you can be distracted by the works of an AMERICAN idol and ignore true legends like MJ and CC than WOW!!!!theres something wrong with youyes he has a very nice voice but i just dont respect AMERICAN idol as much as i do to chrIS AND MICHAEL;/
