I enjoyed your video.I made 4 backpacking trips into and along Sespe Creek where it borders the CA condor sanctuary in 1988-1991. Then, you could access the Sespe via an old Union Oil access road and via Alder Creek from the condor observation area. The last trip we started from the observation area, hiked to Alder Creek, and down to the Sespe. We followed the Sespe until we reached the Union Oil road -- about a 20 mile trip over 4 days. I will always have fond memories of the Sespe!

Be sure to check on conditions. A wild fire ripped through much of Sespe a few months ago. I'm not sure what sections are currently open.

FANTASTIC VIDEO!!!! THANK YOU FOR THE INSPIRATION!!! I'm heading into the Sespe solo (well, with my dog) two weeks from now. I can't wait to get in there. How lucky are we to have this in our backyards?!?!?!?Keep the videos coming!
