Thousands of years ago, silk and spices used to be the goods of choice. Now it's about vital resources of gas and oil.
As China looks west again for trade, Al Jazeera's Tony Cheng reports on how the country is rebuilding its ancient Silk Road with an ambitious network of railways and pipelines.

u can't compare slavery in the new world with wat other countries did tha africans forcefully taken from their homes entire ethnic groups were wipe out. the racial subjugation and afteermath of the whole thing is not easily explainable to someone who is not descended from them

I guess all those immigrants agreed with you too. The country was built on immigration and people willing to work for a better life. The slavery issue, half the world did it. Yes it should have been rectified sooner. But the country offered opportunity to anyone who came to the country. The US is over 200 years old, it might have degenerated in the last 60 years, but don't let history get in your way of US bashing. You make it sound as if the country was founded by devils.

china is composed of more than 56 different cultures
uygurs (east turkistan), tibetans(tibet), mongols, koreans (manchuria), turks, vietnamese (paracel islands) etc....
all cultures stolen here and there..
