this is just the civilian version of the g36 series
but it's cool as hell
this and the scar are probably my favorites

hey, if it makes you guys feel any better, they have paintball and airsoft versions of this weapon! Smart Parts-8! Same look, same feel, same modular design allowing you to swap out accessories! I love mine, and I really wish the Army had adopted this weapon.

I still want to know who the fuck wanted to design a gun that looks like a god damn fish.
seriously, it looks like a fucking fish, but it's still a good weapon....looks better than the SCAR.

I really think this would be a good replacment for the M-4. Very easy to change out parts, such as grenade launcher, and handle grip. I also think their was some veriations with a longer barrel (more of a rifle type) and the dual round clips, (I don't know what they're called, but for more of a full auto)

incredible accuracy for a small gun

H&K is still doing work on it. It is based off of the G36 with obvious technical difference but they are relatively similar.

I will agree with you that th XM8 is an spin-off of the G36, but it seems that is more rugged than the latter, and that it fix some issues that the G36 had.
erickalejandrom (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
THey already had the same problem with the G36, they fix it by adding a aluminium cover in the inside of the forgrip, and inexpensive solution for a seriuos problem.

Look at the Steyr AUG, it looks pretty big to me. And you are right about the forward ejection =P |
