Technique gets thrown out the window from all these people who are just copying each other saying "their good but theres no emotion" could they please explain it? whats making it lack any of that just because something is completely over their head they refer to it as meaningless Technique plays a BIG factor in any given instrument.but not every one is a perfectionist im just sick of seeing people shooting down talented guitarist just because their not playing a simple diatonic progression

americans have too much emphasis on 'individuality' and sometimes people just end up sucking because they like to pretend that technique doesn't matter at all, that is the mentality that americans grow up with, parents telling their kids ' oh its ok son, you can do whatever you want to do, just believe in yourself and don't listen to what anyone says about you' and sadly america believes that idea, and many grow up lacking the pursuit of excellence and perfection in every field. not just guitar.

i think people like to talk shit about this video because they like to make fun of the type of technical perfection training that asian people are brought with... especially chinese. people like to say words like 'feeling less' 'emotion less' 'crappy' 'shitty' 'fuck' and 'whore' because lets face it... only the asians have the largest number of guitarists who are trained technically perfect...

The technique is impecable, but... it lacks of character, her accellerandos are excesive, needs a little bit more "ad libitum" and the second part is way too fast. The best performance i've heard is by David Russell, he gives a lot of character to it and makes it very interesting...
