the reason is because drancill did not fully explain how to open the lcd connector properly.there is a another vid on here that shows you,and I think may be there should be a warning on this page.

Can any1 help me how to change the LCD light of my Nokia N95? Coz my phone has been liquid damage but almost all d stuff on it is still working except the Light on the screen and the Bluetooth. So Any One?

damn this flipping phone. Ive ripped off the facia, replaced a new lcd screen and now the ribbon clip has come off. I did it so carefully aswell, now the new screen is black.

Sadly this usually results in snapping the top fascia off and replacing it

Got the new screen and torqe tool today. Tried to remove the screws but only one came out easily. The other 3 refuse to come out and wont loosen at all. Now the srew head is rounded off almost completely. Any ideas??? Its driving me mad
