FO3 is boring when you look at what goes on in FO2 (once you get past the older graphics). In FO3, all sorts of things to do have been replaced with a lot of empty space with nothing to do. It's great fun exploring, but the game is very limited and repeats itself quickly (eg, the ghoul-infested metros).

Ge's kind of right about shiny graphics. That and physics are mostly what games are about today. Hype helps a lot too. If you play FO2 and ignore the graphics, you'll see what FO3 is missing.

Well im lucky in that I have not played fallout 1 or 2 or oblivion even though I have read alot about the game. I really enjoy fallout3 and play atleast 5-6hrs. a day. I got a good guy on level 20 and im currently working on my evil guy on level 15. This game is the best! I have the wanderer perk on my good character and I come to see that I have so much more to explore just makes the game even sicker! PS3 by the way.

problem with fallout 3 is it feels like oblivion, and even tho i like oblivion, alot of ppl dont and they probably wudnt like fallout 3 cos of that. and i never thought of fallout as a fps or third prsn game, just completly changes the game. if only interplay cud hav made it, they probably had brilliant ideas for the game. this is just like system shock 2, another great game yet somehow develepors got bankcrupt and now its up to some completly different developer to make it.

old games r good. i know what u mean by 'sole' but that dosnt mean new games are bad, its a new generation of graphics, gameplay, story, and 'sole' but its not a bad thing.

There's always that self-righteous "I'm better than you because I play old games" asshole who comments on these type of videos. It's like those people who boast about rejecting mainstream music...like it somehow makes them a better person compared to everyone else. No it does not make you a better person. It just means you have a different opinion.

you know, people say that about music too, but the truth is, is the past its old and boring and the newshit is coming in and you have to live with that majority of the people like graphics anyway along with "Soul" even tho games are objects which dont have soul and FYI people do still injoy there jobs making games the only problem you have is games are too complex for you to keep up

I think fallout 2 is better than fallout 3 because it has more guns and armors (no outfits) but if it would be on modern graphics other stuuf it would be better than fallout 3

No always when you get the GECK and go back to the village they are gone
