Meet Tashi and Polar--two Siberian Huskies who never, ever stop raising hell.
[If you think you would like to own one of these gorgeous, captivating dogs, think carefully about whether you're ready to live with what you see in this video, 24/7! What you don't see in this movie is that if they don't get a LOT of exercise, they'll get bored, and when they get bored, they get destructive. Tashi ate not one but TWO couches before she was a year old. Stuff like this is why far too many Siberian Huskies end up in shelters, or worse. Please research the breed characteristics of any dog before you adopt. There's more to a Husky than the pretty!]

Oh my god. That is so funny and looks so familiar since I own a husky. They do have lots of energy and I love them. Great music too.

Oh yeah. Both of mine hunt. Squirrels and birds are big favorites, especially babies... easier prey, and so tender! Also moles, which is how I know what the death scream of a mole sounds like (very small).
They desperately want a taste of chipmunk but as far as I know have been unsuccessful. They have also decided frog looks better than it tastes.

As an addition to the last post, my male Mitsu is a hunter. He has killed five squirrels in the back yard, two rats, dug up and killed a mole, and once caught a possum, which he ran around with hanging from his
mouth. He put it down and I thought it was dead,I dragged him away from it by his collar, into the house. I went back out to dispose of the possum, but it was gone, so I guess that it was "playing possum:.

This is just like watching my Huskies, Mitsu and Shaela. They do play rough at times, even rougher than this, but neither of them has drawn blood on the wrestling, and its over as quick as it starts. People do not realise that its just play and claim that the dogs are 'wild". You have to tell them its just their way.

1:55 I hope thats not beer!! Ha or maybe thats what you need to calm them down! Nice vid, and good description. I know of too many morons that don't know how to care for their dogs.

Fixing can help with that, indeed. So can just growing up a little, but not always. Mine were both a little over a year when this was filmed; they are 3 1/2 or so now. Tashi has chilled out some but Polar's not about to let her get away with that. He was already fixed when I got him but he's always been a nutjob.
