Bill Guggenheim pt. 1

Bill Guggenheim and his former wife Judy, conducted seven years of research on After-Death Communication (ADC) for their book, Hello From Heaven! During this time, they interviewed 2,000 people and collected more than 3,300 first-hand accounts of ADC experiences. Bill is on the Board of Advisors of the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) and is a member of the Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC). He presents workshops at conferences for bereavement support groups, hospices, churches, colleges, and many other types of institutions. The world's foremost authority on after-death communications (ADCs), Bill Guggenheim joined the program to discuss his thirty-year journey into researching and documenting over three thousand first-hand accounts of communication with the dead. He said that these experiences constitute "modern day evidence for life after death" and that the goal of his research is for ADCs to be regarded as "a natural and normal part of life." Guggenheim defined after-death communications as "a spiritual experience that occurs when someone is contacted directly and spontaneously by a loved one that has died." He noted that the criteria for an ADC is narrow, so as to rule out ghosts and third party participants like mediums. Asked how many people have had these experiences, he said that a conservative estimate is 60 million Americans and that he's spoken to witnesses with ages ranging from eight to ninety-two. According to the accounts that he has received, after-death communication can take many forms. Some of these included sensing a nearby presence of a person soon after they have died, hearing the voice of a departed loved one, or seeing the deceased either in a partial form or completely solid. Guggenheim speculated that the motive behind the ADCs is that those who have passed away "don't want us to grieve, because they know we don't have to. I have been studying and practicing different techniques to know better "who I really am." And believe me, the physical body is just that a "body", a tool, or a suit! Like a diving suit needed to stay alive in the ocean's dephtness. Years ago (about 40 years), I was mostly interested in astral travel" (because I didn't know better), and then I found about "Soul Travel"... Wow! What a difference it was! Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls are my favorite books on the topic of life between lives! I can't draw, but I've been doing a particular doodle all my life. I almost had a heart attack when I saw it in one of Newton's books, along with other symbols from the between time. I wish Newton would write another book about the topic. I know beyond a doubt that consciousness exists outside the body. It matters not what others think or say in the negative. It all makes sense.

I have researched the field of "After Death" for the past 35 years. We're only a physical vehicle for the real Self, Soul. Some books I read: Journey of Souls by Michael Newton. Past Lives, Dreams, and Soul Travel by Harold Klemp. In the last one, there are some "easy" techniques anyone can use to prove that life beyond death is a reality. I've proved it to myself, and it can only be something personal. No one can do it for you. So, it's up to you! PS: Nice interview by the way!

Thank you SO much fomr this video!! :-) Just a week ago I found Bill & Judy's book by a "coincidence" and it's Wonderful! :-) I'm interested in the afterlife subjest since childhoon and hope one day do improve the awareness about the subject (esspecially in my countrly- Israel, where there aren't so many books as in the USA). respect to u my fellow human being.its interesting to hear ur impatience at w8g to cross over i am 42 now and also am beginning to think about that time of crossing over i am not afraid atall of death and dieng but the method bothers me i dont want to suffer.have u heard of james van praagh...peace

thanks for your response. I could not agree more. Death is nothing to be afraid of, as it is just a reconnection with our former selves, and our souls. we all can comfort eachother through this transition, and help get ready for our cross over. Thanks to all who watch, as this is my favorite interview I've heard in a long time.

Incredible Posts....I hear and see my dead relatives in Dreams...I used to keep a notebook bye my bed. I am told God doesnt exist as we know him; but as a Universal God for all races and all religions. I am 61 and cannot wait to cross over.
