To many greedy people have had their hands in the till for sooooo long, it`s become custom and practice for large companies to rob it`s shareholders and bum money from any place it can. they unload unsafe investments on the unwary and now they whant the taxpayer to subsidise their incompitence. These peolpe are bloodsucking thiefs, Totally corrupt and without concience..How stupid are we to let them get away with it...!

We are all in trouble, starting with the announcement of the death and doom bailout package that no one on the street will ever see a dime of. That money is for businesses with corporate jets and lavish weekend spa packages. What kind of idiots show up on corporate jets begging for billions without a business plan and what kind of idiots listen to them? My company has a business plan and it starts with being forced to layoff good hard working people.

Gov assistance for you? If you're in business for yourself, you either use investment funds from private entities or banks, or you use your own money. If you product has no market or the market is limited to where it does not support the product and price, then you should not be in that business. There are great rewards to having your own business, but it is also very challenging. In the end the risk you take could be rewarded, but failure is an option. Government should bail out any one!

I agree with you there. For decades, the Government has lied to us. However, most of the funding we seek comes from them. It's unfortunate, but at some points, we have no choice but to rely on what hurts us to heal us. If there's a way you can pull yourself up without Government assistance, I would like to be filled in. Setting your hopes on a politician, is like standing on quicksand.

Though the employment rate is dropping dramatically, I am honestly hoping (at best) that Barack Obama follows up with his promises and plans to rescue Small Business. I, myself, own a Small Internet Company Megapixel Productions and only have one other person working with me. I'm hoping to open my doors to more people in the coming year. "I would not be surprised to see unemployment go to 8% next year?" Jesus!
