This video is very involved but it will show you how to "Stop a process" "unregister a dll file" "Edit the registry and remove the strings created by the virus" and empty out your temp files. PLEASE! be very careful to follow the directions in this video and on the printout.

BetaFlux, May I ask a question?
I ran Ad-Aware 2008 and it indicates that I have the virus. HOwever, none of the files that you have listed on your .txt file exist. I have other ones, according to Ad-Aware. How can I follow your instructions to get rid of the version of ZLOB that is infecting my computer?

first, go to start and hit run. now type

I know some people say mcafee is bloatware but I have been using its security suite for 3yrs (not cheap i know) and have never had a virus trojun etc ,plus any other issues I may encounter |I have fixed easily ,also I thought the stuff you showed in this vid is standard that most pc users know? of course even knowing that is no good if you dont know the files to deleat,btw day2day i use spybotSD mcafee & ccleaner,and I do manual defrags & %temp% etc

Perhaps an older generation of ZLOB.
ZLOB variants today, also known as Alureon installs itself as a root kit. SpyBot does not remove rootkits, AVG rootkit remover will though.
