Ur very naive if you truly believe he meant 100 years literally. He was referring to the fact that we leave troops behind after every war. Hell we still to this very day have troops in Korea, Kosovo and all around the World. Even if we pull out of Iraq, there will still be some troops left behind at the embassy and so forth.
