This product looks ok as a supplement to a cell phone only house hold, for when the batteries run out or you put on a 200minute hold that you can't hang up from. As far as using it when on the road, you have to have highspeed internet(usually possible) and access telephone it looks like or at least a headset to go through the computer.

I paid for the magic jack with a debit card the exact same day I ordered it. When I received it, it worked one day. Thursday night I began calling Magic Jack and did not receive a response until Friday evening after trying far too long. The tech said she was sending me a replacement, and I received an e-mail from Magic Jack telling me I needed to pay for another one. It worked one day only, and after that I was not able to make any or receive calls. Hope I get my money back!

dont know what you did wrong it works fine for me. you need atleast 2gb to run it smooth my opinion.

I viewed the video and really wonder how the inventor with his daughter pulled off just a SCAM!I purchased a "MagicJack" and it does not work and I want my money back.Also, they say in the commercial that you have 30days free to review this and your debt card won't be billed.Guess what? My card was billed before I even received the product.Let's get real people -- I believe this is the SCAM of 2008!address etc. something is wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!
